Core package
We offer a core package of standard services that are essential for every project, included in every Preview Studio pack: Existing and proposed plans, visualisations, floor area and a rough cost estimate. You can then tailor that package by choosing customisation options for additional services according to your specific requirements, so you only pay for what is important to you and your project.
Plans
Every Preview Studio pack includes a set of existing and proposed plans, showing your home as it is, and as it could be if you renovated it. To create the plans we start with the video of the home that you've uploaded to our website, and use that to generate a 3D point cloud. From there we create a 3D model, and use that to produce the existing plans. Next we work up a new sketch design in 3D, which we then use to generate the proposed plans. Alternatively, if you can’t provide a video but can supply plans (for example, estate agent plans) we can work from those instead.
We provide plans in two formats: Existing and proposed plans come as traditional architectural drawings in our standard clear format, with dimensions; or as an optional extra, we can provide rendered 3D proposed plans, to give you a better idea of space and texture (see customisation options below). Numbers
From the 3D model we can estimate the area of new construction, and the renovated area. Based on factors particular to your project (area, location, specification level and so on) we can provide a likely cost range to help inform your decision-making or future design development. This cost range is a simple estimate - the most accurate cost estimate will only come when you get quotes from the companies providing the materials and labour for construction.
As an optional extra service we can also estimate of the value of the renovated home by looking at comparable nearby properties (see customisation options below).
Design
The proposed plans represent our design ideas for your home. They are concept sketch designs, intended to be a starting point for your thinking, or something you can give to an architect or contractor if you decide you want to move the project forward. To produce our designs we start with an analysis of the context (what is the orientation of the existing building, where there is room to expand, what have your neighbours done), and what your ambitions are, as set out in your brief when you order your Preview Studio pack.
Do you want more light? A bigger kitchen? Extra space for the kids to play? Based on your brief we use simple but effective design principles to come up with proposed layouts. If you want to tweak an aspect of the layout (add a wardrobe, move a door), our standard service also includes one design revision.

Visualisations
We use the 3D model to produce AI-generated images showing what it would be like to stand in your newly renovated home, complete with an interior style that fits your brief. The images have a photo-realistic quality, and are perfect getting a real feel for what is possible, beyond simple dimensions and areas. Every Preview Studio pack includes a set of four visualisations of your home, showing different styling options from the same viewpoint.
Additional viewpoints or styling options are available as optional extras (see customisation options below).
Timeframe
Our standard service includes a 10 working day turn-around time from the point we receive your video. We’ll send you an email within 24 hours that will include a target date for issuing the initial pack. If you have any revisions to make after that you can email us with your comments, and we will make the revisions on the same timetable.
A quick or rush service is available as an optional extra (see convenience upgrades below).
Format
A Preview Studio pack is a multi-page PDF, readable on your phone, tablet, laptop or desktop PC. Once it is ready, we will send you an email with a download link.
Customisation options
Customise your Preview Studio pack with these optional services, to expand the number of designs we produce for you, or the number of rooms we produce visualisations for. Add in rendered plans or get answers to your questions about whether you will need planning permission, what you can do with your leasehold, or how you can improve the energy efficiency of your home.
Extra design option
£100
The core Preview Studio pack depicts a single sketch design, but you can of course choose to see multiple different design options if you want. For example if you may want to see a permitted development option alongside one that would require planning permission, or a rear extension vs a loft extension, or how you could subdivide the property to create a granny flat in future. The extra design option will be shown as an additional set of architectural plans.
Rendered 3D plans
£50
The core Preview Studio pack includes a set of traditional architectural plans, but not everyone finds these easy to understand - stairs can be particularly tricky! We also offer beautiful rendered 3D plans, that can help clarify space through lighting and texture. These are based on the same 3D model of your home that the traditional plans are, but with a bit of extra work from us to get them looking good. See full size samples at this link.
Extra visualisation set

The core Preview Studio pack includes a set of four visualisations from a single viewpoint, each with a different interior styling. If you want to see a bedroom instead of a living space, or you want to see more than one design option, or you have particular ideas about the kind of interior styling or materials you're interested in exploring, then select this option and we will produce an additional set of images to your brief.
Value estimate
£50
The core Preview Studio pack includes a rough cost estimate for the construction of the proposed extension. For those who are interested in their home as an investment, we will look at comparable properties in the neighbourhood to establish an average value per square metre and apply that to the proposed total area to give you an estimate of the value added by the extension.
Leasehold and next steps advice
£50
For those who aren't sure what they can do with their leasehold property, we can begin to answer that question. We will obtain a copy of the lease (if you don't already have it), and check for the clauses that limit what the leaseholder can do. We aren't solicitors, and won't give you legal advice, but we can explain the path forward. As with the energy efficiency advice option, as part of this customisation option we also provide a simple guide to the steps you will need to take to make your project a reality.
Planning and next steps advice

Some people already know that they are only interested in permitted development extensions, while others aren't sure. If you have wondered if you will need planning permission for your extension or renovation, we will check the planning designations of your property, the local authority guidance regarding the type of extension in the proposed design, and find if there are any precedents in your area. As with the leasehold and next steps advice, as part of this customisation option we also provide a simple guide to the steps you will need to take to make your project a reality.
Energy efficiency and next steps advice

Some people are interested in making their homes more energy efficient to save money on bills, while others are trying to live in a more sustainable way. Landlords (or prospective landlords) will be interested in finding out what steps they may have to take to make sure their home will still be lettable after minimum standards are raised in the future. We will review the EPC of your home, and explain what potential upgrade paths are open to you, given the likely construction of the walls and roof, to either meet minimum standards or to turn your home into an exemplar of energy efficiency. If internal insulation is one of the options for your home, we will let you know what the likely loss of floor area would be. As part of this customisation option we also provide a simple guide to the steps you will need to take to make your project a reality.

We turn around our Preview Studio packs within 10 working days as standard. For those who need the information sooner, we offer a 5 working day and 3 working day rush options, putting your project at the top of the queue.
Video consultation
£100
As part of the core service we review what you've told us about your ambitions for your home in the initial questionnaire, discuss your project with you on the phone, and if we have further questions we will email them. If you would prefer to talk face-to-face where we can look at the 3D model together in real time, then we offer a video consultation service. We recommend having the video call after we have created the model of the existing home.
Printed hard copy in the post

As standard we issue the finished Preview packs as a PDF over email. We can also offer a printed, wire-bound A3 hard copy, sent to you in the post, in addition to your pdf.
3D-printed model
£500
Sometimes it is just easier to understand a design if you hold it in your hands and see it in 3D. For those instances we can offer a 3D-printed model.
Visualisations only
For designers, we offer a visualisation-only service. For those that already have a design proposal prepared, we can take an architectural plan or model and show you what it could look like.
Visualisations only service

We can provide interior visualisations based on an architectural plan or 3D model that you supply. Use our service to see multiple styling possibilities for the same underlying architectural design, allowing you to test different interior design styles, including various materials, colours and furniture layouts.
We can help you quickly explore ways to style a proposed home renovation and establish a direction for your interior design. Give us one design and we’ll produce four computer generated images, styled based on your taste and aspirations.
